DALLAS-Whitestone REIT has acquired the Shops at Starwood, a Class A retail center located in North Dallas, in an all-cash transaction for $15.7 million. The company has also bought a nearby undeveloped land measuring 2.7 acres for $1.9 million. It can develop an executive office and retail space spanning 36,000 square feet on the site. Hermansen Land Development Inc. was the owner of the retail development.
