SAN JOSE, CA-An investment group led by Lew Wolff, a real estate entrepreneur and owner of Oakland A, has purchased the Sainte Claire hotel for an undisclosed price. However, according to people familiar with the transaction, the purchase price for the six-floor hotel comprising 171 rooms is between $17 million and $18 million.
Marin County-based Larkspur Hotels & Restaurants was the seller of the property. The company recently sold its two boutique hotels in Marin County and Los Gatos to MetWest Terra Hospitality. For the full story, go to San Jose Mercury News .
