WASHINGTON, DC-The U.S. Department of State has leased the former offices of the World Bank at 600 19th St. NW. The General Services Administration brokered the leased deal on December 29 and as per the deal, the State Department will place its workers into space of just nearly 156 square feet per employee.

State will move around 1,900 employees to the World Bank-owned, 463,151-square-foot building with plans to consolidate its operations into the building. For the full story, go to Washington Business Journal .
