AURORA, IL-Barrington-based GK Development Inc. has acquired Yorkshire Plaza, a 362,000-square-foot shopping center at New York Street and Route 59 in west suburban Aurora. The company has bought the retail center for $20.5 million from a venture of Kimco Realty Co.

The center is nearly 70% leased to Best Buy, Golfsmith, Pier 1 Imports, the Fox & Hound sports bar and Value City Furniture. New Hyde Park, New York-based Kimco paid $29.7 million for the center in 2005. For the full story, go to Crain's Chicago Business .
