NEW YORK CITY-Daniel Brodsky, a real estate developer, is in negotiations with the General Theological Seminary to purchase the Desmond Tutu Center, a hotel and conference facility in Chelsea. The center measures approximately 50,000 square feet and contains about 60 hotel rooms.

The property also has two large conference rooms. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but a person familiar with the deal said that the property could be valued at approximately $30 million. For the full story, go to New York Observer .
