WINSTON-SALEM, NC-The Wells Fargo Center in downtown Winston-Salem is up for sale. The 549,000-square-foot office tower, formerly called Wachovia Center, is located at 100 N. Main St. and Houston-based HFF has been selected to market the Class A office building.
New York-based 601W Companies bought the 17-year-old building in 2008 for $36 million. The 29-story office building is 95.8% leased to Wells Fargo, Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center and Deutsche Bank Securities. Wells Fargo occupies 60% of the building.
