CHICAGO-The W Chicago City Center owner is planning to expand the Loop hotel. Chesapeake Lodging Trust will add nearly 35 rooms to the 368-room hotel located at 172 W. Adams St.
The company is expecting to spend approximately $7 million for the expansion work, if it moves ahead with the project. The Annapolis, Maryland-based company bought the hotel in last May for $129 million. It will construct the 21st and 22nd floors of the hotel. For the full story, go to Crain's Chicago Business .
