HOUSTON-New York-based Skanska USA Commercial Development Inc. has purchased the old Arco building in the Energy Corridor in west Houston for an undisclosed price. The building, which is situated on a 21-acre parcel at 15375 Memorial, was sold by a subsidiary of Allstate Insurance Co.
Skanska has plans to demolish the unfit office building and develop a new Class A office space on the site. Russell Ingrum of CBRE Group Inc. negotiated the deal on behalf of Allstate. For the full story, go to Houston Business Journal .
