MINNEAPOLIS-A joint venture headed by Oak Brook-based Real Estate Corp. has acquired two retail properties in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area for $46.6 million. The REIT formed joint venture with PGGM to purchase Silver Lake Village in St. Anthony.

Silver Lake Village comprises 159,000 square feet of space as well as a Wal-Mart store measuring 144,000 square feet on the ground floor. The joint venture is also purchasing the 116,200-square-foot Woodbury Commons property in Woodbury. The sellers of the shopping centers were not identified.
