ARLINGTON, VA-McLean-based Kettler Inc. is preparing to redevelop the old Crystal City Post Office into a residential tower. The company recently submitted plans to Arlington County to demolish the property at 1720 S. Eads St. and build a $50-million, 11-story tower there.
If Arlington County officials approve the proposed plans, the former post office will be converted into over 200 apartment units. Kettler is planning to spend the next year requesting approvals for the development and hopes to start construction by late 2013. For the full story, go to Washington Business Journal .
