MILPITAS, CA-The Torgan Group of Canada has acquired a big chunk of the McCarthy Ranch retail center in Milpitas with plans to renovate the property. The Contra Costa Times reported that the company acquired a stake in the shopping center for an undisclosed price.
The center contains several vacant big-box stores. Torgan Group's plans for the major renovation work are not yet known, but the report said that the developer is planning for an Asian mall. For the full story, go to San Francisco Business Times .
