WAYZATA, MN-Roseville-based Presbyterian Homes & Services will build a retail and senior housing complex in downtown Wayzata. Crews will start demolishing parts of the former Wayzata Bay Shopping Center in April for the $125-million complex.

The Promenade of Wayzata will be constructed on the 15-acre parcel of an empty shopping mall. The first phase of the project will include Folkestone Senior Housing, a 254-unit complex, and nearly 32,000 square feet of retail space. Construction is scheduled to be completed in fall 2013.
