CLOSTER, NJ-EDENS, a shopping center developer based in South Carolina, has closed the acquisition of a 210,000-square-foot retail center in Closter. The Closter Plaza shopping center has been under bankruptcy proceedings.

The acquisition deal was valued at $27 million. EDENS will invest $25 million in renovation. The retail center is situated at the Closter Town Square. People familiar with the development said that a Whole Foods will anchor the center. For the full story, go to Wall Street Journal .
