MILWAUKEE-A Milwaukee zoning committee has approved the Potawatomi's proposed plans for a new hotel on West Canal Street. The Potawatomi, which revealed the 20-story hotel in January, is preparing to start construction in July and is expecting to open the hotel in 2014.
The Zoning, Neighborhoods, and Development Committee of the Milwaukee Common Council approved zoning for the development on Wednesday. The $150-million hotel will be constructed beside the Menomonee Valley Casino. For the full story, go to Business Journal Serving Greater Milwaukee .
