KAPOLEI, HI-A subsidiary of Pleasanton, California-based Safeway Inc. is planning to construct a $50-million retail center near the printing plant of Honolulu Star-Advertiser and the Kapolei Commons shopping center. The shopping center will be built on an 11-acre parcel in Kapolei.

The Honolulu Star-Avertiser reported that the real property development arm of Safeway, Property Development Centers, has plans to finish the work on Parkway Shops Kapolei, a 117,000 square-foot center, next year. For the full story, go to Pacific Business News .
