PITTSBURGH-General Nutrition Centers (GNC) Inc. has acquired its partner's stake in a joint venture that owns a downtown building, where the company has its headquarters. Terms of the deal were not revealed. As per the deal, GNC Headquarters Inc., an affiliate of GNC, has purchased Armstrong Development Co.'s ownership interest in Gustine Sixth Avenue Associates LTD.
GNC confirmed in a separate statement that it has become the sole owner of the 253,383-square-foot building called as 300 Sixth Avenue Downtown. For the full story, go to Pittsburgh Business Times .
