BEDFORD, MA-The second phase of the National Guard's headquarters building at Hanscom Air Force Base situated in Bedford is making progress. The new headquarters measuring 80,000 square feet will be connected to the 193,000-square-foot facility that already exists.
The new facility will house classrooms with elevated computer access flooring, vehicle work bays and heated storage. Nauset Construction and Kleinfelder/SEA are handling construction and architectural work, respectively. Construction is scheduled to be finished by May 2013.
