CHICAGO-Smithfield Properties LLC, a Chicago-based developer, is planning to build a 39-unit apartment building at 1811-25 W. Division St. in Wicker Park. The proposed four-story multifamily property will also include nearly two restaurants managed by Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises Inc.
The Smithfield entity bought the property from L. Miller & Son Lumber Co. for $3.2 million in September 2011. MB Financial Bank NA filed a foreclosure lawsuit against L. Miller in January 2011.
