BIRMINGHAM, UK-Capital & Regional has signed agreements to acquire The Kingfisher Shopping Centre situated in Redditch along with its capital partner, an associate of funds controlled by Oaktree Capital Management, LP. The company is buying the regional mall for GBP 130 million from Scottish Widows Investment Partnership clients.
The Kingfisher Centre comprises roughly 1 million square feet of retail space. C&R and Oaktree are providing GBP 10.6 million and GBP 42.4 million, respectively, for the acquisition. For the full story, go to Europe Real Estate .
