NEW YORK CITY-A stalled 16-story hotel project situated on the Lower East Side is up for sale. The site of a half done 98-room hotel project at 139-141 Orchard St. has reached sales block with a price tag of $28 million.

As an alternative, the site can be bought together with a five-story building and a vacant retail lot at 77-79 Rivington St. for $35 million. The Allen Street Hotel developer defaulted on a $19-million loan last year. For the full story, go to Crain's New York Business .
