BOSTON-Hersha Hospitality Trust has made an agreement to purchase the Bulfinch Hotel in the West End neighborhood of Boston for $18.2 million. The company is planning to spend $2.5 million to upgrade guest rooms and improve amenities in the 80-unit hotel.
The deal is expected to be closed in Q2 2012. The Bulfinch Hotel is situated next to the O'Neill Federal Building, TD Banknorth Garden, the Massachusetts General Hospital campus and North Station Commuter Rail. For the full story, go to Boston Business Journal .
