KANSAS CITY, MO-Kansas City's Tax Increment Financing Commission will consider a tax increment financing method for a proposed $142.5-million retail and office project in Clay County. The proposed plan for the Towne Center development calls for 150,000 square feet of office space and over 1 million square feet of retail space.
The development site is bordered by Shoal Creek Parkway, Missouri Highway 152 and Interstate 435. CBC Real Estate Group is seeking TIF financing to support a part of the project. For the full story, go to Kansas City Business Journal .
