CHICAGO-The owner of a vacant seven-story office building in River North has listed the property on the market for $10 million. The 65,100-square-foot building at 540 N. LaSalle St. was hit with a foreclosure lawsuit in 2011.
A venture managed by Joseph Lagoa has employed CBRE Inc. to market the property. The venture paid $2.4 million for the building in February 2005. In June 2011, a subsidiary of Popular Inc., a San Juan, Puerto Rican bank, filed a foreclosure lawsuit against the venture. For the full story, go to Crain's Chicago Business .
