SEATTLE-A real estate investment company based in San Francisco is planning to construct a 157-unit apartment building in Seattle's South Lake Union neighborhood. MacFarlane Partners bought the site at Thomas Street and Eighth Avenue North for $6.25 million in December.

The proposed seven-story apartment complex will have two floors of underground parking. Seattle's West Design Review Board is provisionally scheduled to review the proposed plans of MacFarlane on July 11. More than 2,000 apartments are already under construction or proposed in South Lake Union. For the full story, go to Seattle Times .
