LONDON-Southwark Council has approved planning permission for a 110,000-square-foot extension of Surrey Quays Limited's Surrey Quays Shopping Centre situated at Canada Water on London's Rotherhithe Peninsula. Surrey Quays also proposed an extensive renovation of the 309,000-square-foot shopping center.
The extension will provide 18 new restaurants and shops as well as four kiosk units. The planning approval makes way for a GBP 30-million investment in the shopping center. The project is scheduled to be completed in summer 2014. For the full story, go to PropertyMall .
