CHICAGO-Roosevelt University has recently celebrated the grand opening of its new vertical campus, a 32-story tower on South Michigan Avenue. The $118-million, 413,000-square-foot building is the second tallest academic building in the nation after the University of Pittsburgh's Cathedral of Learning.

The building houses a recreation center, student services, a cafeteria, classrooms, chemistry and biology labs, a trading lab room and 633 beds for students.
