LONDON-LaSalle Investment Management has acquired an industrial site in Newbury from SEGRO for GBP 4.7 million. The company purchased the freehold industrial site, located on Hambridge Road in Berkshire, for an institutional pension fund client.
The site includes a 107,000-square-foot B2 industrial unit that is leased to SPX International Ltd. An additional 4.8 acres of land has planning permission for 93,300 square feet of B1, B2 and B8 units. Rumsey and Partners advised LaSalle, while Parkinson Holt and Deal Varney advised the vendor.
