CHICAGO-Golub & Co. has bought a 144-unit apartment portfolio in Lincoln Park for $23.1 million. A venture headed by Chicago-based Golub has purchased 11 apartment buildings on the 1700 and 1800 blocks of Halsted and Dayton streets.
Golub acquired the properties from a venture headed by Wyllys Baird in March. Amerisphere Multifamily Finance LLP provided a $17.8-million loan to finance the acquisition. The new buildings have been rebranded as the Halsted Place Apartments. For the full story, go to Crain's Chicago Business .
