BETHESDA, MD-The Donohoe Cos., a real estate organization, has closed $55 million in construction loan to develop The Gallery of Bethesda, a 234-unit apartment building at 4800 Auburn Ave. The 17-story, 250,000-square-foot high-rise will include 4,600 square feet of retail, a fitness room, coffee bar, rooftop pool and a quarter-acre public plaza.

Donohoe is partnering with MPM Investment Co. LLC on the project. AXA Equitable Financial Services LLC will finance the $55-million loan. Construction is expected to be completed in Q1 2014. For the full story, go to Washington Business Journal .
