CINCINNATI-Frisch's Restaurants Inc. has sold all of its Golden Corral restaurants and real estate. The sale comprises 29 restaurants in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
Raleigh, North Carolina-based Golden Corral Corp. purchased the restaurants from Frisch's for $49.8 million. Craig Maier, President and CEO of Frisch's Restaurants, said that the closing of this deal marks a significant milestone in the company's strategic process to improve shareholder value.
