OAKLAND, CA-Investors Winthrop Realty Trust and Paulson & Co. have put the Claremont Hotel Club & Spa, a 279-room hotel in Oakland Hills, on the market for sale. Bloomberg News reported that the hotel has reached the sales block with a price tag of $80 million.

The investors purchased the property in early 2011 after Morgan Stanley the previous owner, filed for bankruptcy. Pyramid Resort Asset Management LLC is managing the resort and Atlanta-based Hodges Ward Elliott is marketing the property for the investors.
