CHICAGO-An affiliate of New York-based Goldman Sachs Group Inc. and Golub & Co. of Chicago will buy a 15-story office tower at 311 W. Monroe St. for approximately $45 million. Irving, Texas-based Archon Group L.P., an affiliate of Goldman Sachs, and Golub will pay nearly $117 per square foot for the building at Franklin and Monroe streets.

New York-based AREA Property Partners paid $43 million in 2005 for the 384,885-square-foot building. Chicago-based BMO Harris Bank's lease at the building expires in 2014. For the full story, go to Crain's Chicago Business .
