RALEIGH, NC-Blue Heron Capital has bought the 216-unit Pine Winds Apartments in Raleigh for an amount of $13.8 million. The Charlotte-based real estate investment firm owns apartment communities in Columbia, South Carolina and Mooresville.
Blue Heron Capital was created in 2009. The firm purchased the 296-unit Lake Shore Village in Columbia for $8.9 million in 2010 and Country Club Apartments, a 101-unit complex in Mooresville, for $4.5 million in 2011. For the full story, go to Charlotte Business Journal .
