BOSTON-The Dorchester House Apartments, an apartment complex for seniors in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston, will stay affordable. Dorchester Housing Associates, a subsidiary of EAF Associates, has secured a new $6.7-million loan from MassHousing.
The initial subsidized 30-year mortgage on the building was set to be cleared in June. Therefore, the building owner obtained a 40-year loan that will help the building stay affordable into the future. The 91-unit complex was constructed in 1982. For the full story, go to Boston Business Journal .
