SOUTHFIELD, MI-Carter Validus Mission Critical REIT Inc. is expanding its portfolio with the purchase of the Southfield Data Center in Southfield. A statement said that the Tampa-based real estate investment trust bought the 53,000-square-foot data center for $7.25 million.
The property is 100% leased to two tenants. Carter Validus' filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission revealed that Level 3 Communications LLC leases roughly 75% of the property. For the full story, go to Tampa Bay Business Journal .
