CHICAGO-Lafarge S.A., a cement maker, is planning to relocate its US headquarters this year from Virginia to Chicago. Lafarge U.S. has inked a long-term lease for just above 31,000 square feet in Presidents Plaza at 8700 W. Bryn Mawr Ave.

The company will take most of the third-floor space at the two-building complex near O'Hare International Airport. Prudential Real Estate Investors and Chicago-based GlenStar Properties LLC own the building. Jones Lang LaSalle Inc.'s Eric Kunkel represented the tenant in the transaction.
