PROVIDENCE, RI-The Providence Biltmore, a 292-room hotel situated in the heart of downtown Providence, has changed hands for $16 million. Finard Coventry Hotel Management is the new owner of the landmark hotel.
The hotel, constructed in 1992, also includes a 19,000-square-foot function space. The company is planning for a $10-million renovation on the property. The renovation will include a new roof, rearrangement of meeting rooms and the ballrooms, guest rooms, lobby and corridors and restoration of exterior brickwork.
