SAN DIEGO-Bartell Hotels, a San Diego-based independent hotel operator, has start construction on a $13-million expansion work at Holiday Inn San Diego Bayside. The 44,000-square-foot extension at the hotel at 4875 N. Harbor Drive is scheduled to be finished in summer 2013.
The renovation will comprise a new grand entrance having a 2,000-square-foot lobby, 57 large guest rooms and suites, a boardroom and a 3,400-square-foot ballroom. After completion, the hotel will have 291 guest rooms, including 13 suites. For the full story, go to San Diego Business Journal .
