LONDON-The West End of London Property Unit Trust (WELPUT) has reached contracts to acquire the freehold interest in the 10-story Buchanan House at 3 St. James's Square in London. The company is taking the building, which provides 54,022 square feet of office space, from Aberdeen Asset Management clients for GBP 66.375 million.
Winchester House Property Company Limited currently leases the building and its lease will expire in June 2014. Strutt & Parker represented Aberdeen Asset Managers and CBRE advised WELPUT in the deal. For the full story, go to PropertyMall .
