NEW YORK CITY-Houston-based Hines has reached a contract with J.P. Morgan Chase & Co.'s asset management division to move ahead with a new office tower in midtown Manhattan. The projected 470,000-square-foot building will come up at 7 Bryant Park.

J.P. Morgan is expected to put over $200 million in equity. The new development will be overlooking Bryant Park. In August, Hines announced its plans for the 28-story building on Sixth Avenue and 40th Street and hired CBRE to find tenants for the building. For the full story, go to Wall Street Journal .
