NEW YORK CITY-The Mall at Bay Plaza in the Bronx is scheduled to be opened in 2014. Prestige Properties started construction last month on the 780,000-square-foot behemoth at the crossroads of Interstate 95 and the Hutchinson Parkway near Co-op City.
Two anchor tenants, namely, Macy's and J. C. Penney, are on board. The new mall will come up beside Bay Plaza Shopping Center. The Mall at Bay Plaza will comprise 80 smaller retail stores and a 1,800-spot parking garage. For the full story, go to New York Times .
