AUSTIN, TX-A commercial real estate company based in Austin has started construction on a student housing complex at the corner of Pearl and 21st streets near the campus of the University of Texas. The $26-million project was financed by Land Development and Construction LLC.
The six-story building will include 136 apartments with 270 bedrooms. The student housing project was designed by Austin-based Kelly Grossman Architects and the general contractor was Skyline Builders. For the full story, go to Austin Business Journal .
