ARLINGTON, VA-Washington Real Estate Investment Trust (WRIT) has picked up Fairgate at Ballston, an office building spanning 147,000 square feet at 1005 N. Glebe Road in Arlington, for $52.25 million. The Rockville-based firm paid $355 per square foot for the eight-story building.
Fairgate at Ballston is 82% leased to office tenants. The acquisition brings the Washington area portfolio of WRIT to 72 properties adding 9 million square feet. For the full story, go to Washington Business Journal .
