NEW YORK CITY-Brooklyn-based Steiner Studios has picked up the Jardin, a 44-unit apartment building at 142 N. 6th St. in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, for $38 million. The company purchased the condominium-turned-rental building from Read Property Group.
Read Property Group paid $15 million in 2011 for the property. In May, Steiner purchased a 60-unit apartment building in Carroll Gardens for $24.5 million. David Behin of MNS represented both the buyer and the seller in the deal. For the full story, go to Crain's New York Business .
