
MIAMI-Hong Kong-based Swire Properties has started construction on its $1.1-billion mixed-use development in the Brickell financial district of downtown Miami. The first phase of the project, called Brickell CitiCentre, will comprise 520,000 square feet of retail, two residential towers, two office buildings and a 243-room hotel along with 93 service apartments.
The first phase will be finished by 2015. The total build-out area of the project will be approximately 2.9 million square feet. Miami-based Arquitectonica is the architect. For the full story, go to Commercial Property Executive .
