BUFFALO-Ellicott Development Co. has purchased the Vars Building, a four-story Art Deco-period building at 344 Delaware Ave., and an adjacent parking area for $5.525 million. The 30,000-square-foot structure was listed on the market last summer for $2.8 million.
Ellicott Development bought the building from 344 Delaware Avenue LLC through its Deltup LLC subsidiary. The adjoining property has a 63-vehicle surface parking and a 12-car parking lot.
