HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA-Essex Property Trust has purchased "The Huntington" apartment complex situated beside the Bella Terra mall in Surf City for $48.25 million. The low-rise building, situated on Edinger Avenue, comprises 276 units.
The Palo Alto-based apartment investment firm paid $179,000 per unit for the complex. Amenities in the complex include lighted tennis courts, an Olympic-size pool, a fitness center and spa.
