GAITHERSBURG, MD-The Bozzuto Group and JBG Rosenfeld Retail have paid $28 million for 20 acres of land in Gaithersburg for a mixed-use project. The developers are planning to begin site work on the project, called Downtown Crown, later this month.
The project will comprise about 540 apartments and a Harris Teeter-anchored center. Bozzuto's apartments, to be named the Cadence at Crown, will be constructed above JBGR's retail center. The developers bought the site from Sunbrook Partners. For the full story, go to Washington Business Journal .
