MIAMI-Branch Banking & Trust Co. has sold an office building in Miami Lakes at a 47% loss. Eagle FL I SPE LLC, an affiliate of BB&T, sold the office building spanning 65,071 square feet at 1380 N.E. Miami Gardens Drive for $4.7 million.
Atrium Professional Plaza LLC, managed by Joseph Oksemberg and Jonny Alpern, was the buyer. In March, BB&T seized the building from KBR Development Corp. after foreclosing on an $8.8-million mortgage. For the full story, go to South Florida Business Journal .
