NEW YORK CITY-The Lightstone Group, a New York-based firm, is planning to construct the city's first upscale outlet center in the Bronx. In May, the real estate developer paid $30 million for a 19.2-acre site at 2505 Bruckner Boulevard.
The company did not reveal its plans for the site, but Michele de Milly said that a retail development will bring revenue and jobs to the Bronx. The Bronx Times first reported plans for an upscale outlet mall last month. For the full story, go to New York Times .
